To save cost for your inactive company, you can submit a declaration to Companies Registry for declaring dormant
A dormant status can save both time and money involved in filing an annual return every year, holding annual general meetings, appointing auditors and preparing audited financial statements
HOW IT WORKS?
1. Documents will be prepared and email for your signatures
2. After the signed original document received, we will arrange to submit documents to the Companies Registry ("CR"). Receipt confirmation will be sent to you
3. After the document is accepted by the CR which is usually a week time, we will send you the filed Official document for your records
4. A dormant company in Hong Kong must not have any significant accounting or financial transactions during dormancy, excluding transactions arising from the payment of any fee that the company is required by an Ordinance to pay. Otherwise, the dormant status will be ceased.
5. Renewal of Business Registration and filing of Tax Returns required by Inland Revenue Department is still required.
6. A non-trading company does not equals to a dormant company
